Youth Group

Overview

The focus of our youth group is to teach the children basic Christian values from the Bible, and to show them how to apply them into their lives. The “slogan” or goal of our youth group is: “To train the youth according to the Scriptures, so that they will understand what God's purpose for their life is, and how they can achieve that purpose.”

When/Where

Youth group is on Monday nights at Colmar Manor Bible Church, and begins at 6:30 and ends at 8:00. From 6:30 to 7:25 the youth can play ping-pong, foosball, bumper-pool, board games, and even the Nintendo Wii. The kids enjoy this free format, and it gives the leaders a chance to spend time with all of the youth, and to build relationships with them. At 7:25 we have devotion. This consists of a power-point presentation that focuses relevant Biblical issues that the youth deal with. Youth group then concludes with a game of “Bible Jeopardy” with questions that are based off of the lesson, and previous lessons.
